Credit Corporation continues strong partnership with Port Moresby Basketball Association

Credit Corporation (PNG) Limited is pleased to announce its continued support of the Port Moresby Basketball Association (POMBA) with a donation of K20,000 towards the association’s 2023 proper season.

Speaking during the official cheque presentation, Credit Corporation (PNG) Limited Chief Executive Officer, Danny Robinson said, “As a company, we recognise the significant role that sports plays in empowering our youths and building strong communities.” He added that the donation reaffirms the company’s commitment to supporting local initiatives that contribute to the growth and development of Papua New Guinea’s sports sector.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the Port Moresby Basketball Association and contribute to the growth of basketball within the country,” said Robinson.

POMBA Vice President, Lawrence Lahari, expressed his gratitude towards Credit Corporation for its continued support of POMBA stating that “Credit Corporation’s contribution has been vital in the growth and development of basketball in Port Moresby.”

He further added that, Credit Corporation’s support will go a long way in ensuring the success of this year’s season with funds to be used to meet essential costs such as venue rentals, equipment, and logistics.

Apart from basketball, Credit Corporation has a long-standing history of promoting sports and community development through several sporting codes including rugby league, rugby union, cricket, and netball.
