Credit Corporation (PNG) Ltd Resignation And Appointment Of Chairman Of The Board

The Chairman Mr. Garth McIlwain, today tendered his resignation as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Credit Corporation (PNG) Ltd and its subsidiary companies Credit Corporation Finance Ltd, Credit House Ltd, Era Dorina Ltd, and Era Matana Ltd.

Mr. Mcllwain is required to resign as Chairman in order to satisfy requirements issued under Bank of Papua New Guinea Prudential Standards on Banks and Financial Institutions. Mr. Mcllwain remains a director of the Company until the next Annual General Meeting of the Company.

Sir Wilson Kamit, today was appointed the Chairman of Credit Corporation (PNG) Ltd and its subsidiaries including Credit Corporation Finance Ltd, Credit House Ltd, Era Dorina Ltd, and Era Matana Ltd.

Chairman Sir Wilson Kamit acknowledged Mr. Mcllwain’s contribution to the various Boards since his appointment in 2008.
